Definition

The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) name, seal, or logo is defined by DFPS Communications as an easily identifiable marque or art, for example, a star in a Texas map surrounded by a stylized wreath, topped with the agency’s acronym and circled by gold bands, connected to the words Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. The name, seal, or logo appears on all external materials and is the main mark on any DFPS publication.

Contract Uniform Terms and Conditions (UTCs)

The UTCs include a provision requiring a contractor or grantee to request approval before using the DFPS name, seal or logo in any manner. A contractor or grantee is not allowed to use the DFPS name, seal, or logo to imply any DFPS endorsement, approval, or sponsorship of their goods or services until they have written approval.
