*Steps to view the executed contract for SJRC Texas, Inc. (# HHS001342100001):- Go to the Legislative Budget Board (LBB) contract database website and click on “Contract Database Search”.
- In the Contract ID field, enter the contract number.
- In the Agency dropdown, select “530 - Family & Protective Services”.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the “Submit Search” button.

April 2025
The Office of Community-Based Care Transition (OCBCT) and the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) announce Community-Based Care (CBC) Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) award in Region 8A, Bexar County, to SJRC Texas Inc.
Understanding implementation for each contractor is different, we expect readiness activities to take approximately six to eight months before Stage I begins. DFPS intends to immediately enter into Stage I readiness in Region 8A, with a projected Stage I go-live in Region 8A in Fall 2025.
In Stage I, SJRC Texas Inc. will build a network of services in the community and will provide foster care placement services. In Stage I, SSCCs will be responsible for the placement of children in foster care and those entering foster care.
